Author Information

Geoffrey Cantor is an actor, voice actor, and director. He graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College with a degree in theater before attending the National Theater Institute, and continued his training at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, in London, England. Cantor has appeared in films such as Hail, Caesar! and Public Enemies and television series such as Daredevil and Damages. He is the chief creative consultant for Rethink The Conversation, a nonprofit public awareness group focused on issues of serious concern that have been tinged by stigma, misinformation, or indifference. Connor Towne O'Neill's writing has appeared in New York magazine, Vulture, Slate, RBMA, and the Village Voice, and he works as a producer on the NPR podcast White Lies. Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he lives in Auburn, Alabama, where he teaches at Auburn University and with the Alabama Prison Arts + Education Project. This is his first book.
