Doodles, Doggerel and the DivineAfter busy workdays Audrey would sit quietly and doodle her reflections onto the pages of a well-travelled exercise book. Forty years later these jotted verses are scattered through several books. This collection is a selection. The poems are whimsical, thoughtful and may bring a smile or tear as they express the joys and sorrows of the author's full life. They are influenced by Audrey's experiences as a nurse and a woman of faith. This book acts as a companion to her published memoir, A Stroll in My Moccasins.

Author Information

Audrey grew up in Kenya and has lived and worked in several countries, settling in Australia in 1972. She qualified and worked in three main careers: horticulture, nursing, and Christian ministry. On retirement she became a priest within the Anglican Church of Australia. Today she lives in Albany, is retired again, and loves not having to rush off to work every morning, except Sundays.
