His talks have encouraged countless lives across CEO forums, YPO chapters, real estate firms, banking and restaurant industries, and the transportation sector. Kent has also spoken to teams throughout the NCAA and the NFL. After two decades serving in various pastoral leadership roles in the local Church context, Kent was invited by Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach, Mike Tomlin, to serve as an NFL chaplain in 2019. He now speaks at different universities, churches, businesses, and conferences across the United States. Kent is also the founder of the Deflect the Glory(TM) movement that raises awareness and resources for nonprofit ministries in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He earned a bachelor's degree in student ministry from Geneva College and a master's degree in theological studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Kent is from Pittsburgh and he values most being a husband to Erica and a dad to their three adult daughters and one son-in-law.
