Author Information

Jennifer L. Hochschild is Henry LaBarre Jayne Professor of Government and Professor of African and African American Studies at Harvard University. The author, coauthor, or editor of numerous articles, chapters, and books, her most recent publications include Creating a New Racial Order: How Immigration, Multiracialism, Genomics, and the Young Can Remake Race in America and Bringing Outsiders In: Transatlantic Perspectives on Immigrant Political Incorporation. Katherine Levine Einstein is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Boston University. Her current research focuses on racial inequality, political segregation, and the splintering of U.S. metropolitan areas.
