Author Information

Stephanie Eissinger was born and raised in Eastern Montana, put herself through college and graduate school, and survived her parents' divorce, and two divorces of her own. She's a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Certified Professional Coach with over 16 years of professional experience helping individuals move beyond their challenges to live happier and more satisfied lives. The theme that permeates her work, whether it be Coaching or Counseling, is to enable individuals to gain self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and the tools, skills and self-confidence to overcome whatever obstacles they face. She believes that motivation for growth is most often initiated and/or strengthened when individuals face adversity. And that, sometimes, that means a going through a devastating life experience, such as divorce. She expresses that, although she's an intelligent and self-confident woman overall, in the relationship department, she's been a slow learner. But, she enthusiastically states that she's now happily married to a farmer/rancher and has been able to turn her hard earned wisdom into a successful partnership. She has three young adult children (two daughters and a stepson) and is strongly committed to modeling how a mutually respectful and loving relationship functions in real life, having missed out on the opportunity to observe one up close when she was growing up. Her philosophy on her role as a Coach and a Counselor is that she's doing her job if she's working herself out of a job. And, that's what her books are designed to support - empowering readers and clients to become more self-aware, self-confident, self-reliant, motivated and capable of achieving the goals they've set for themselves.
