Prof. Huo received his Ph.D. from Tohoku University, Japan in 2007. He worked as Professor at School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China from 2011-2018. Prof. Huo's research interests focus on conversion of biomass/waste into chemicals and fuels, bio-based materials production and application, conversion of CO2 into chemicals and development of new synthetic methods. He has published over 110 journal articles and 5 books, and received 15 patents in the related fields.
