She is co-author of multiple books, including Allies and Obstacles: Disability Activism and Parents of Children with Disabilities (2020). Joan M. Ostrove is Professor of Psychology at Macalester College. Ostrove has co-edited special issues of the Journal of Social Issues and Disability Studies Quarterly, and her work has been published in multiple journals, including the Journal of Applied Social Psychology. Tara Fannon is a gender and disability sociologist and interdisciplinary scholar working in disability advocacy. Her research examines the relationship between self, identities and social-structural access.
