Well-Done Dinosaur Coloring Book. Any parent of a dino-loving child (or an avid viewer of children's books!) knows that there is a glut of dinosaur coloring and activity books for kids. This book is certainly a cut above the rest. First, it focuses on a specific period in which dinosaurs lived, in this case, the Triassic. This coloring book is actually this publisher's second for that period. The book's first page shows symbols that will appear on each page, depicting whether the particular dinosaur is an herbivore, carnivore, or omnivore. Each page with a dinosaur illustration provides its name at the bottom. I like that the dinosaurs are detailed enough to differentiate them, but aren't too detailed for younger dinosaur-loving children. Each page has a background as well, some with erupting volcanoes!
