He has consulted and done research at some of the top global organizations (NASA, Boeing, GM) and has served as a senior executive at both Fortune 1000 companies and entrepreneurial organizations. Dr. Grieves has held academic appointments including University of Michigan, Purdue University, University of Iowa, and Florida Tech. Dr. Grieves is a frequent keynote speaker globally. He was the keynote speaker for ANNSIM and the Holst Memorial Award speaker in 2022. Dr. Grieves has a BSCE from Michigan State, an MBA from Oakland University, and doctorate from Case Western Reserve University. Edward Y. Hua is a Lead Modeling & Simulation Engineer at the MITRE Corporation. He currently serves as the Digital Twins Simulation Engineering Tech Area Lead at MITRE's Department of Simulation, Experimentation, and Gaming. In this capacity, he identifies the current tools, capabilities, and experiences related to digital wins that MITRE possesses, and develops collaborative project opportunities with academia, government, and industry. Dr. Hua received his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Cornell University. He also obtained his Master of Engineering degree from Princeton University, and B.S.E.E. from University of California, Irvine. He is a member of INFORMS.
