Katrina vive en un pequeño pueblo del sureste de Inglaterra con su marido y sus tres hijos. En 2013 recibió la beca de ficción Margaret Carey de la SCBWI de las Islas Británicas, y en 2014 fue una de las ganadoras del concurso Undiscovered Voices de la SCBWI.
