Overview

The Diary of a Traveling Kid is a travel diary with suggested itineraries from two American tweens, James and John, about their monthly international travel during their 3 years living in Germany! It was previously only available as an eBook due to clickable links for 265 places but is now available as a paperback! These military kids wrote all about what they saw, what they ate, how they felt, and what they did as Mom and Dad took them on a grand expedition to see all of Europe & a little of Africa. - Read their accounts of 18 trips to 17 countries: Italy, France, Spain, The Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Gibraltar, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Germany, Northern Cyprus, and Egypt! - Come with the traveling kids to their own box at the opera in Prague and take a ride with them on camels to the Sphinx in Egypt! - Learn travel tips on how you can skip the LONG lines at world famous monuments and destinations like Rome's Coliseum, Paris' Eiffel Tower, Spain's Alhambra, and SO MUCH MORE! - Discover hidden gems off the beaten path - not featured in most travel guides! Did you know you can hire a sailboat to navigate the Greek islands with your own captain & your family/friends as the crew? - Find great restaurants, campsites, hostels and hotels to accommodate ALL budgets with the included links at the end of each chapter! You too can spend the night in a medieval Spanish castle for the price of a regular 4 star hotel! The Traveling Kids' escapades feature everything from almost freezing to death in a tent in the Julian Alps of Slovenia to the luxury of a cruise ship sailing the Mediterranean! Their voyages crisscross Europe and parts of Africa - from the Canary Islands to the Red Sea; from Poland to Portugal. Their editor, Mom, has also included her commentary and travel photos, as well as 265 internet links to all the places they visited, so YOU can recreate these travel adventures for yourself! Even if you're already on a trip, read this book, be INSPIRED, and start planning your next ADVENTURE!
