Dr. Saikat Sen is currently working as Associate Professor in the Dept. of Pharmacy, Assam down town University, Guwahati, India. He obtained is PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India. He possesses more than 8 years of teaching experience and his prime research interest lies in management of diabetes. He also has vast experience in evaluating certain plant extracts for their medicinal properties. Dr. Sen has 45 national and international publications to his credit and serves as fellow/member of various academic societies in Indian and abroad; such as Indian Science Congress, National Academy of Biological Sciences, Asian Council of Science Editors and many more. Dr. Sen has been actively involved in organizing and participating various conferences and seminars of international repute. He is also in editorial board of various journals published by Elsevier, NISCAIR, Medknow, etc. Dr. Sen has written a chapter published by Springer in the book titled “Free Radicals in Human Disease and Health (ISBN: 9788132220343; pp 293-322). Dr. Biplab De is currently working as Associate Professor (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) at Regional Institute of Pharmaceutical Science And Technology (RIPSAT), Agartala, Tripura, India.
