She is Chair of the CILIP Chartership Board and is actively involved in the current review of the criteria for entry to Chartered membership and Fellowship. Margaret is a member of the SCONUL Advisory Committee on Staffing for which she has led a group that has produced a strategy for the development of senior library managers, especially in relation to management and leadership skills.
