"Kent McInnis is an Oklahoma-born chronicler of people, places, and good times. He lives with his wife, Cheryl, in Oklahoma City. He served as an Air Force jet instructor pilot during the last five years of the Vietnam War. For the next 33 years he worked in the pharmaceutical industry for Hoechst Pharmaceuticals which evolved through mergers into Sanofi-Aventis. After retiring in 2008, Kent assumed the position of Chairman of Westerners International, an organization with chapters on three continents, dedicated to making the study of Western American history fun - ""no stuffed shirts allowed.""
