James Aweya has more than 20 years experience in the Telecom industry. He is a Chief Researcher at the Etisalat BT Innovation Centre (EBTIC), which is jointly established by Khalifa University, Etisalat, and BT (British Telecom) and located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Before then he was with Nortel, Ottawa, Canada. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, Canada.
