OverviewThis study investigates the knowledge used in the interpretation of dream processes and in interpreting, classifying and writing down dreams. Moreover, it deals with the state of knowledge regarding the dream in science during the Old Empire. In the context of the cultural history of sciences this includes religious and medical interpretations and rhetorical practices.
