Author Information

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a strong love of nature, art, and learning. As I grew up, many of my goals centered around my passions and I am always eager to find ways to combine them. I graduated from Lees McRae College with my Bachelors in Wildlife Biology with a concentration in Wildlife Rehabilitation and a minor in Psychology. During this time as part of my studies, I worked at the May Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and gained hands-on experience with many different types of animals. I presented my ambassador animals to the public and at elementary schools which is where I honed the skills needed to not only collect knowledge but to also share the knowledge I had acquired. Making learning fun is the best way to engage new minds and open up new ways of thinking.
