He studied at Victoria Bible College (Melbourne Australia) and Baptist Theological College Queensland (Brisbane, Australia). He served as pastor church-planter in Australia and later in the United States where, since 1997, he has served with the Southern Baptist Convention's North American Mission Board mobilizing pastors and churches to impact the world with the good news of the gospel.
