Her principal interests are in late-Victorian literature, Comparative Literature and twenty-first century drama. Her journal publications include an article on intermediality in the Decadent performance of Anita Berber and an article for iFeminist Modernist Studies on war plays written by Mina Loy, Vernon Lee and Else Lasker-Schüler. After finishing her doctorate at Oxford, she was employed at the University of Regensburg, Germany, where she started research on her current project investigating the impact of feminist literary theories on contemporary Anglophone drama.
