Author Information

Peter Curson is Professor of Population and Security at Sydney University and Emeritus Professor of Medical Geography at Macquarie University. With a background in Historical Demography, Geography and Public Health he is particularly interested in the links between infectious disease and human behaviour. He is the author of seven books and more than 100 academic papers and has written extensively on epidemics and pandemics in Australian history and is a regular contributor to the Australian and New Zealand media.
