Andi Ali is the author of the Inspector McGowan murder mysteries, and a British government whistle blower. He is the only Civil Servant to be sacked for raising concerns of malpractice within Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs to the Chairman of Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998.
