Reviews

"""Dead Jack and the Soul Catcher is a more than worthy follow up in the Dead Jack series, and is everything you could want in a sequel. It's packed with humor, Nazi-punching action, and twists aplenty. If you love supernatural creatures, noir detective stories, and humor tinged urban fantasy, you can't go wrong with the Dead Jack series."" -- ""Charlie Cargile, PopHorror.com"" ""Dead Jack and the Soul Catcher is a refreshingly raw and unfiltered horror comedy. James Aquilone fills this tale with gut-punch intensity and blindside plot twists. I found myself laughing out loud many times."" -- ""Michael Hodges, author of The Puller"" ""Dead Jack and the Soul Catcher ups the raucous mayhem with unforgettable characters, punchy dialogue, and smart world-building. I cannot wait for future installments so I can laugh some more at the world's greatest--or perhaps worst--zombie detective."" -- ""Max Pfeffer, Booknest.eu"" ""Dead Jack and the Soul Catcher is that rarity among book series in that it is even better than the first book. One can only wonder what goodies Mr. Aquilone will surprise us with when the next chapter arrives."" -- ""Ron Fortier, author of The Green Hornet & The Terminator comic books"" ""Dead Jack is wicked fun! Undead noir with a devious sense of humor. Highly recommended!"" -- ""Jonathan Maberry, New York Times bestselling author"""

Author Information

James Aquilone was raised on Saturday-morning cartoons, comic books, sitcoms, and Cap'n Crunch. Amid the Cold War, he dreamed of being a jet fighter pilot but decided against the military life after realizing it would require him to wake up early. He had further illusions of being a stand-up comedian, until a traumatic experience onstage forced him to seek a college education. Brief stints as an alternative rock singer/guitarist and child model also proved unsuccessful. Today he battles a severe chess addiction while trying to write in the speculative-fiction game. Eric G. Dove is a multiple Earphones Award-winning narrator, and his credits include more than one hundred audiobooks. He is also an accomplished musician and a budding author, who published Ghosts of Royston in 2013. He is a graduate of Ohio State University.
