Overview

Evie, searching for answers, finds a monolith in a derelict area of London. How could she have known it was a Portal? Trying to save her, Alan is dragged into Dumnon by a bloodhunter-priest whose sole aim is to capture Evie for his Master, the Priest-king of Mureck. How will they survive this nightmarish world of war and magik, let alone get back home? The Murecken now invade the western lands, all for the glory of Murak, and the Storratian Empire must fight for its survival. Once more, Coryn must face the blood-priests and thwart their aims. While the power known as the Wefan leaks from the world, the blood-priests of the oppressive god Murak rise again to bring war to the lands of Dumnon. They search for those with the Wealdan in their blood, for this gives them power. Power to twist, to alter and control, and ultimately to gain yet more power. In horrrifying blood-rites pratised on both humans and creatures, they gorge on the blood of innocents, destoying farms and families, conquering swathes of territory and gaining new followers.

R B Watkinson (Rosa) was raised on myths and legends, and now loves fantasy, sci-fi, horror, mystery, and so much more. Her tastes in reading and film watching are nothing if not eclectic. She's held down a variety of jobs: IT, publishing, teaching in special needs education. She also acts, and sings, and will continue to do so until she's asked to stop. She studied for a Diploma in Creative Writing at Oxford University from 2009-2011, which ran the gamut of long and short fiction, poetry, plays, films, travel, and biography.
