The first station in D beln opened in 1847 at nearby Gro bauchlitz along with the Riesa-Chemnitz line. The current station was built with the opening of the D beln-Leisnig section of the Borsdorf-Coswig line on 2 June 1868. Between 1892 and 1926 the D beln horse tramway connected the station and central D beln.
