Her research focuses on virtual criminal profiling and cyber behavioural analysis, and she is currently leading an international research project in conjunction with INTERPOL and the Garda, the Metropolitan Police, the Australian Federal Police and the LAPD. She is involved in a number of Forensic CyberPsychology research areas including organised cyber crime, cyber reporting of crime, virtual behavioural profiling, cyber analytics, human trafficking & technology, cyberstalking, cyberbullying, child welfare in cyberspace, personal cyber security and safety. She advises at national and European level in policy debates and recently co-chaired a White House research team. Mary's work is also the inspiration for the prime-time TV show CSI: Cyber.
