Overview

"A young woman from the Midwest, recipient of an unexpected college scholarship, is recruited into a lucrative courier job that shuttles her from Manhattan to Washington, DC. There's a slight drawback: the previous two ""cutouts"" died by violence. Max Allan Collins is the author of Road to Perdition, the acclaimed graphic novel that inspired the movie, and of the multiple-award-winning Nathan Heller series of historical hardboiled mysteries. Max Allan Collins is one of most prolific and popular authors working in the field today. He was chosen as a 2017 Grand Master by the Mystery Writers of America. He is also the literary executor of Mickey Spillane. Barbara Collins, co-editor of the bestselling anthology Lethal Ladies, has contributed short stories to numerous collections, including entries in most volumes of the popular Cat Crimes series; several of her tales have been selected for the Year's 25 Finest Crime and Mystery Stories collections. Occasionally she collaborates with her husband, and their co-bylined stories have appeared in Hot Blood and Till Death Do Us Part, among other anthologies; she was also Production Manager on the two Mommy features. Gabrielle de Cuir, an Audie and Earphones Award-winning narrator, has narrated over three hundred titles and specializes in fantasy, humor, and titles requiring extensive foreign language and accent skills.
