J. Christopher Giancarlo is a renowned blockchain technology advocate and key contributor to the global discourse on cryptocurrencies and digital assets. He served as the thirteenth chairman of the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Giancarlo was first nominated by President Obama and again nominated by President Trump, each time unanimously confirmed. Today, Giancarlo is senior counsel to the international law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher and a cofounder of the Digital Dollar Project, a not-for-profit initiative to advance exploration of a US central bank digital currency. Multiple Voice Arts Award nominee Steve Marvel is one of only four narrators to be chosen a winner of the ACX Audiobook Narration Contest by Audible's Mike Charzuk. Steve received his classical theater training at Northwestern University and continues to work in theater, film, and television.
