She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Oregon and her articles have appeared in Women in French Studies and Deleuze and Guattari Studies. She previously earned a BFA in Drawing and Painting from Biola University and an MA in Italian Literature from the University of Washington. She has lived in Rome and Paris, speaks both Italian and French, and enjoys living a multilingual life. Currently, she works as a Technical Writer and as the Publisher for Angels of Africa Press. She and Gordon live near Seattle, WA.Gordon grew up in Kenya speaking Luo, Swahili, and English: He enjoys living a multilingual life. He holds a bachelor's degree in Media Studies from the Multimedia University of Kenya in Nairobi, a BA in Global Studies from the University of Oregon, and a post-graduate certificate in Tropical Forest Management from Yale University.
