She teaches and lectures internationally, has mounted numerous one-person exhibitions, and won Best of Show in the exhibition Timeless Meditations (Tubac Art Center/2013). Dunnewold has authored numerous books, including Complex Cloth and Art Cloth. She currently has a Craftsy class online with almost 8,000 students, she teaches seven to ten workshops a year, teaches and mounts exhibitions for the International Quilt Festival in Houston, and runs online classes through her website.
