Overview

This collection of snippets and anecdotes on cowboy life recreates the world of each of the ranch and the range of the latter half of the 20th century - and are the stories of today's old-time cowboys. They testify to the hard realities that fill the everyday lives of cowboys and cowgirls and to the tough practicality, the common-sense resourcefulness, the intelligence, and brilliant good humour with which they stare down a challenge.
