A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, U.S. Army Ranger School, the Defense Language Institute (German), and law school, he has found himself in many different roles-a field artillery officer in the 82nd Airborne Division and in Germany; an engineer and manager in corporate America; and most recently, a criminal defense attorney for over sixteen years.
