Overview

Mit dem 4. Faszikel des Bandes IG XII 4, 4 wird die Edition der antiken Inschriften von der Insel Kos abgeschlossen. Er enthalt die Grabinschriften aus den koischen Demen, Varia (Inschriften auf Mosaiken, Katasterinschriften, judische und christliche Inschriften), Graffiti, Inschriften unbekannten Inhalts, Fragmente sowie die nach Kos verschleppten Inschriften (Nr. 3054-3867). Es folgen die Inschriften von den sog. Milesischen Inseln Leros, Lepsia und Patmos (Nr. 3868-3932), die durch einen separaten Index erschlossen und, soweit erhalten, abgebildet werden. Die Edition wird mit den Inschriften der Insel Kalymnos (IG XII 4, 5) fortgesetzt.
