N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. He holds an honours degree in Mathematics (1983, University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK), a Master's in Control Systems (1985, University of Manchester/UMIST, UK), and a PhD in Control Systems (1988, University of Salford, UK).
