OverviewIn the face of demographic growth and rural exodus, Madagascar, particularly its major cities, is faced with poorly managed urban development, marked by a proliferation of illegal construction. The absence of proper urban planning is hampering the country's sustainable development. In this context, the study focuses on the development of an urban plan for a new 18-hectare district in the Fokontany of Ankirijibe, Commune Rurale de Bemanonga, using orthophotography. The aim is to create activity zones that meet the needs of the local population, particularly in terms of leisure and socio-cultural development. Two assumptions guide this study: the proposed plan is adapted to local needs, and current infrastructures are insufficient.
