Ibrahim M. Abu-Rabi' is professor of Islamic Studies at the Macdonald Center for the study of Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations at Hartford Seminary and co-editor of The Muslim World. He is the author of Intellectual Origins of Islamic Resurgence in the Modern Arab World (Suny Press), and the editor of several books.
