This book includes selection of letters from the 21st Annual for Australian Association for Professional and Applied Ethics' Conference. It addresses the major subject of problem of Political Leadership, Professional Ethics and Dirty Hands. 'Dirty Hands' is somewhat nebulae concept. It can refer to businesses whose purpose is so high that some moral violations are considered fair. In another sense, it can suggest situations where professional obligations may require the performance of those actions which are contrary to somebody's moral beliefs. This word is probably the most synonymous of political leadership and raises the question: Should leaders ever make their hands dirty?
