Computational Modelling and Simulations of Conjugated Polymer-Based NanocompositesReviewsAuthor InformationDr. Mayank Pandey completed his Ph.D. in materials science from VIT University, Vellore, India, on the topic “Preparation and characterization of polymer electrolyte for electrochemical device applications. He then went on to complete his postdoctoral studies in electrical and thermal degradation of graphene-based polymer composite for electronic device applications from CHRIST (Deemed To Be University) Bangalore, India. He is an experienced material physicist with an experimental background in synthesizing graphene quantum dot- (GQDs) based polymer nanocomposites. His research areas also include fabrication of polymer blends and composite electrolytes, organic semiconductor/organic solar cells, and their impedance spectroscopy analysis. Besides investigating the structural, optical, and electronic properties of GQDs based materials, he has also contributed towards the development of new approaches in the field of nanocarbon derivatives. Kalim Deshmukh is a senior researcher at the New Technologies-Research Centre, University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, Czech Republic. He has over 20 years of research experience working with a wide variety of polymers and nanomaterials, including metal oxide nanoparticles and two-dimensional (2D) materials like graphene and MXenes. His research interest is mainly focused on the synthesis, characterization, and investigations of the structure–property relationship of polymer nanocomposites and nanohybrids reinforced with different nanofillers, including various metal oxides, carbon allotropes, and novel 2D materials for energy storage and conversion, energy harvesting, electromagnetic interference shielding, gas sensing, and biomedical applications.
