Mrs. Gray expands on The Tarot Revealed, a very special language for the occulturated which is full of symbols, mystic powers and esoteric wisdom presumably enjoying a renascence in the dawning of the age of Aquarius since there will be a second book this season. All 78 cards are descriptively keyed, along with their divinatory meanings; you must learn them by heart if you are going to succeed as a reader and this mastered, you are told how to read them according to various methods and also in relation to Numerology, Astrology and the Kabalah. Unless you're ready to take this up quite seriously, it seems like a demanding pursuit but then NEVER, NEVER, NEVER finish the reading on a discouraging note. (Kirkus Reviews)

Author Information

A former actress who appeared with Katharine Cornell, Frederic March, and Brian Ahern, Eden Gray traveled all over the world. She was a leading woman in a play in London and helped to produce several plays for the London theater. For ten years, Gray owned a bookstore-publishing house in New York City and published books on metaphysical themes. She gave classes in how to read the Tarot cards in New York and Palm Beach. She also lectured and taught classes in Science of Mind at the First Church of Religious Science in New York, as well as a number of other cities. Her other titles include Tarot Revealed and Mastering the Tarot.
