Overview

Many young men and women every year go out and serve a proselyting mission for the church. These young men and women for go between eighteen months and two years of their lives so they can better the lives of others. The missions they serve are done as a volunteer representative. Since the church's standard $400 monthly average and equalized cost levied for all single young men and young women who serve full-time missions their budgets are very tight so they must be able to cook meals on very little means. This book was developed with meals that are both affordable yet nutritious. Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ is the responsibility of all followers of Christ and is a specific duty for men who hold the priesthood. Just as Christ sent his disciples to share His message while He was on the earth. The Savior continues to send messengers to teach His truth as missionaries. Missionaries are special witnesses of Jesus Christ and have an important message to share with those who will open their hearts and listen. In Doctrine & Covenants 88:81 we are told: -Behold, I sent you out to testify and warn the people, and it becometh every man who hath been warned to warn his neighbor.-
