Early in her training, she began helping in kids' classes. As a leader in the United Ryukyu Kempo Alliance, Jenifer co-heads and teaches all ages' programs at the private dojo she runs with her husband. Several publications, including the Highlights for Children magazine, have published Jenifer's art and writings. She is a long-time member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
