Before joining AFIT, he was a senior research scientist at Eastman Kodak Company where he contributed to the development of OLED and inorganic lighting and display systems. Among his innovations was the development of the RGBW OLED display format, which is currently being commercialized in large screen televisions by LG Electronics. Mike has an MSc in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Ohio University and a PhD from Virginia Tech where his thesis was on human factors of display systems. Mike holds nearly 100 issued United States Patents in digital imaging and display systems.
