OverviewThis tenth volume of the Collected Works of Thomas Hodgskin presents Hodgskin's Articles and Pamphlets on the subject of crime. Most of the articles (32) are from the Economist journal between 1843 and 1857. Four articles are from his time with the Brighton Guardian. We find him again speaking truth to power in his by then established style. The ferociousness of many of his comments seems to reflect less concern with the potential dangers he was exposing himself to, which can be seen to illustrate a matured confidence.
