As cognitive development was discussed, I could easily see how the domains were interdependent when reading the scenarios. This provides the reader a holistic view of the child and really helps the reader to understand the overlap of development into each domain. I was glad to see Spatial Awareness covered - I don't see that enough and it is an important concept. - Debbie Vera, PhD, Associate Professor, Texas A&M University As I was reading each of the three books in Susan Miller's newest series, I found myself absorbing the curiosity, wonder, and awe that she shares as an observer and story-teller of children's development, while unwittingly increasing my passion for understanding the nuances of the developmental process. - Judi Estes, Associate Dean, School of Education, Park University -I liked the inclusion of Guidance techniques in this book; it shows the reader how to apply these concepts while re-emphasizing the concept.
