He is a chemical engineering professor at IUST. His research interests include CO2 capture technologies, gas adsorption, and modeling and simulation of chemical engineering processes. He is an expert in CO2 capture. Zohreh Khoshraftar earned a PhD in applied chemistry in 2018, with a focus on various aspects of nanotechnology, green chemistry, material synthesis, and pesticides. In 2022, she earned a postdoctorate in chemical engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran. During her postdoctorate, her research primarily focused on CO2 adsorption, CO2 absorption, dye removal, and heavy metals removal. Fereshteh Pouresmaeil earned a BSc at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran, in 2013 and a PhD at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Moscow, Russia, in 2021.
