He is the founder of Frangioni Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to inspiring children through drum healing. Thomas Schatz is the Mary Gibbs Jones Centennial Chair of the Department of Radio-Television-Film at The University of Texas at Austin, and is the Executive Director of the University of Texas Film Institute.
