Reviews

This first edition is a terrific, broad overview of sleep medicine with the most clinically relevant points discussed in appropriate depth for mental health or primary care providers. Of particular strength is the discussion of insomnia diagnoses and their pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments. There is an outstanding, comprehensive discussion of clinically relevant comorbidities, with clinical pearls sprinkled in by expert clinicians. The book will be a useful reference for trainees treating these common conditions or experienced clinicians looking for additional clinical insight into the most common sleep disorders. -- Daniel M Tuinstra, MD * Doody *
