Prof. Avinash Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor of Jiwaji University, Gwalior, brings a wealth of academic and administrative experience spanning over 33 years. Prof. Tiwari has held pivotal roles in higher education, including as Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. His academic qualifications include NET and a Ph.D., which have underpinned his distinguished career dedicated to teaching, research, and institutional administration. With over 31 years of administrative leadership, he has served as the Head of Department, Examination Controller, Dean of Faculty, and member of UGC and NAAC national bodies. Since his appointment as Vice-Chancellor in December 2021, Prof. Tiwari has steered Jiwaji University to unprecedented achievements, including securing the NAAC A Grade, UGC Category I recognition, and a ₹100 crore grant under the PM-USHA program.
