OverviewThis book brings together cutting edge research on sustainability, cleaner production, and circular economy transitions, offering readers a broad and integrated view of how societies and industries can move toward more resilient, equitable, and resource efficient futures. Drawing on selected contributions from the 13th International Workshop on Advances in Cleaner Production, it examines real world challenges and solutions across multiple sectors, including energy systems, agriculture, textiles, manufacturing, and supply chains. The chapters explore topics such as climate resilient energy transitions, nexus based sustainability evaluation, strategies for critical raw materials, alternatives to problematic plastics, biodegradable materials innovation, and justice oriented supply chain management. They also investigate circularity in the built environment, digital product passports, life cycle assessment applications, and the role of leadership in advancing circular practices within small and medium enterprises. With case studies from countries including Brazil, China, Italy, South Africa, New Zealand, Turkey, Mexico, and Canada, the book highlights how interdisciplinary methods, technological advances, and ethical governance frameworks can support cleaner production, inform policymaking, and accelerate the global shift toward sustainable development.
