He grew up in Surrey, England and qualified as a solicitor in 2005. After many years of legal practice he decided to travel around Europe and the Middle East lecturing law and teaching English. His travels took him to Poland, Germany, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and finally back to the UK where he was invited to teach legal English to foreign lawyers and law students at courses run at Cambridge University.
