Overview

In Cinders Jacques Derrida ranges across his work from theprevious twenty years and discerns a recurrent cluster of arguments and images, all involving in one way or another ashes and cinders. Among the mostaccessible of this renowned philosopher's writings, Cinders is anevocative and haunting work of poetic self-analysis that deepens ourunderstanding of Derrida's critical and philosophical vision.
